School Uniform Policy

The policy of Leicester Education Authority is that no child “should be excluded from school for failing to wear school uniform”. At Dovelands we adopt an optional school dress.

This consists of:

Red sweatshirt or cardigan;
White or red polo shirt, dress or skirt;
Grey skirt, trousers or jogging bottoms;
Red fleece.

For P.E.

Red or white T-shirt.
Black P.E. shorts.
Plimsolls (for indoor P.E.)
Trainers (for outdoor games).

Jewellery should not be worn other than for religious reasons. For reasons of safety all jewellery should be removed or taped over during P.E., games and swimming.

It is extremely helpful if all items of clothing, including footwear are labelled with your child’s name.
