This is the web page for the school’s official school uniform supplier. You can buy your child’s uniform knowing that the items have been chosen for quality and value and have been approved by the school.
 
To ensure you purchase the correct size for your children, there is a “try on pack” available for checking sizes before you order. This is available in the Welfare room on Wednesdays between 3.30 and 3.45pm.

School Uniform Policy

Uniform is compulsory in school and some items can only be purchased from school including the jumpers and cardigans with the embroidered school logo.  Other items of school uniform are stocked by most High Street stores.  All items of school uniform must be clearly marked with your child’s name.
Uniform Requirements
 
When children start in the Autumn Term they may come into school in either Summer or Winter uniform.  Parents will be informed via the newsletter of a date when all children will be expected to be in Winter uniform.  A date will also be put in the newsletter when the children will be expected to be in Summer uniform.
 
Nursery and Reception Children
 
The uniform requirement for Nursery and Reception children is as follows:
 
Winter Uniform
 
Boys

• White polo shirt
• Grey trousers
• School Jumper
• Grey or black socks
• Black shoes – strong footwear only (trainers are not permitted)

Girls

• White polo shirt
• Green skirt / Pinafore
• School Jumper / cardigan
• White socks or green, red, white or black tights
• Black shoes – strong flat footwear (trainers and ankle boots are not permitted)

Summer Uniform
 
Boys

• Grey shorts can be worn
• Strong black / brown sandals may replace black shoes but not open toed or open backed sandals

Girls

• Mint green / white stripe dress (replaces polo shirt and skirt)
• Strong black / brown / red sandals may replace shoes but not open toed or open backed sandals

P.E kit is required for Reception children only:

• Green shorts
• white school T Shirt
• black / white plimsolls
• P.E bag.
• Trainers are not permitted.
• Children may also wear a plain sweatshirt and/or jogging pants for outdoor sports during the winter. These must be navy, black or dark green.

Children should wear a waterproof “school – type” coat.  The coat ideally should have a hood. Green fleeces with the school logo are also allowed.
 
Hooded tops and denim coats are not permitted at any time of the year.                            
 
Children in Year 1 to 6
 
Winter Uniform

Boys

Trainers - There has been a dispensation allowing children to bring in trainers to play football in during playtimes, so as to protect their shoes.  This will continue to be at the discretion of the Headteacher.

Hair
 
All girls must wear their hair tied back with hair accessories in the school colours of red and green.  Parents need to be mindful that these accessories should be tidy and that they should not be more than are necessary to keep the child’s hair tied back as they could cause a health and safety risk to themselves and other children.
 
Boys hair can be cut short, but not shaved or have designs cut in to the hair.
 
Gel should not be applied to any child’s hair for school.
 
Jewellery
 
Earrings, studs and other jewellery are not permitted in school under any circumstances.  This is the stated school policy and is made on the grounds of the  health and safety of all of the children.  The School will not allow ears to be taped up.  If a child comes to school wearing newly fitted earrings that are taped up a letter will be sent home stating the policy and therefore it will be expected that the earrings will be removed for school.  If this does not take place on a subsequent day, the School will ask the parent to come and take their child home.
 
The Governors are aware that if ears have been pierced, there has to be a period usually 5-6 weeks during which the earrings have to remain in place.  The Governors’ policy is that if you wish to have your child’s ears pierced, the beginning of the summer holidays is the appropriate time as this is the only period in the year which allows the earrings to remain in place.
